Springtime: Refresh, Renew, Revive!
We are well into Spring season and I am loving it! The flowers are blooming, the grass is getting green and the sound of lawn mowers in the neighborhood has a true "awakening" feeling.
There is something about this time of year that takes me to a place of reflecting. It's almost like a rebirth is happening! I start to put back into perspective the simple things in life that are important: a peaceful home, good health and genuine love from others.
It also takes me to a place where I need to refresh, renew and revive! Self care can sometimes go by the waste side during the colder months. I am more of an outdoors person so hikes, beaches and being in nature is where it's at for me!
Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoy my long baths to soak my stress away. I love this Detox Bath Tea for that. And daytime naps are the best when I use my Fresh Mist spray to help me sleep.
Needless to say, it's the perfect time of year to get centered and balanced. Whether it be trying a new fitness class or dabbling in crafting, do something that will allow you to refresh, renew, revive!
Here are some new things that I would personally like to try this season:
- Planting flowers. I know it sounds so cliche' for this time of year, but I don't have a "green thumb" at all!
- Taking a pottery making class. I plan to look for one in my local area. Wish me luck!
- Doing a 21 days of Gratitude Challenge. Wake up each morning for 21 days and make a list of something I am grateful for that happened the day before. Want to join me on this one? I'll definitely be using my Self Care Made Easy journal during this time.
