Our Story

Our journey began in 2009 when our CEO, Vanessa Woods-White, was a busy mom with a beautiful, active daughter and demanding career. She found herself using her bathroom as a quiet & safe place to collect her thoughts and replenish her soul with prayer & long baths. All while her daughter waited outside the door 😊 She realized that in order to be the best mom she could be, she had to make herself a priority. This is where the idea of self care was birthed.

Fast forward, she began making candles & soaps. Friends began to buy them like crazy! Often selling products out of the trunk of her car in Los Angeles, it was a way to make extra cash & begin sharing her ideas behind self care. A good problem to have, right? Not so much. She got overwhelmed and stopped making the products. Although she went on to build an amazing career in corporate America, she would find opportunities in her work to often encourage others to take care of their minds, bodies and souls. 

But the passion to create products still remained for years to come. In 2013 Divine Perfection Body Care was born! A full line of body care products to include body wash, body scrubs, body butters and soaps was created for men & women to indulge in self care at home. 

Using high quality ingredients to create small batches of products by hand is what makes us special. Each product is designed to truly help others make taking care of themselves a priority. Additional products have been addd to enhance the lifestyle. Items such as apparel, drink ware & room sprays are just the beginning.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
